The blog
Tiger and Palm Tree comments on history, developments, and issues relating to the Indian banking, central banking, and economy. The blog was started on 1 April 2020. From 1 August 2020, efforts were made to post at least twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. But, due to the pandemic related unsettled state of affairs, this was not possible. It will now be on an as-and-when-can basis. But, efforts will be made to post at least once a week.
This will not be an aggregator blog, giving links to reports and blogs posted elsewhere, or to news and developments reported in the public domain. There will be posts only when the blogger has a comment on a current or historical event, wants to initiate a discussion, or chooses to contribute to an ongoing debate.
